Define Ideality of your marketing system high by keeping fundamental Strong
The root of digital marketing comes from marketing, never forget fundamentals of marketing, do deep reading of marketing fundamentals. Digital marketing is marketing. Like handsome boy is a boy, beautiful girl is a girl, intelligent person is person. Always remember noun is more dominating than adjective. If noun is not there the adjective don’t have any meaning. Hence keep your fundamental of marketing very strong.
Marketing starts before creating a product. Marketing involve Design thinking- that means Understanding your customer well. It involves identification of right person and right time to sell your product. Marketing uses scientific tools to take decision. Most of political parties use marketing tools and practices to scientifically design their political campaign. Peter Druckers says-‘The main aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well that the product and service fits him and sells it. If your product is not designed well for customer good marketing kills you share in market. Product quality must support the marketing, you cannot sell bad product with good marketing for long time.

Ideality is one of the most powerful concepts of TRIZ. According to ideality, the ideal state of the system is where all its functions are achieved without causing any problem. The system is better, faster, low cost, low error, low maintenance and so on. In other words, an ideal system consists of all positives and no negatives. According to TRIZ, the Ideal System is a system that does not materially exist, while all its functions are achieved. In the absolute sense Ideality is impossible to achieve, but in a relative sense ideality is achievable. Failure of many form of marketing is just because of poor ideality. Even digital marketer are facing these problem, in terms of poor outcome.

Apply Substance field analysis of product, customer and medium of communication
You are in market to sell something for revenue generation. There are three essential elements of this system. Understand properly about these elements before attempting to be a marketer either traditional or digital:
Product/Service: You want to sell for money.
Customer: The person ready to purchase your product/service.
Medium of Communication: The channel of communication between you and your customer
Product
- Marketing involve exchange of money for value. If the value of your product it not good for customer, they won’t exchange it with money.
- You may make more revenue if your product is of less cost by selling it to more number of customers or you can have high cost product and selling it to less number of customers.
- In the diagram below the relationship between product price and number of customer is shown to make a revenue of 1 Crore.
- Things are simple to understand you may charge high cost for high quality product but you will get less numbers of customer ready for the deal. It is the fundamental of most of marketing funnel used in digital marketing.
Customer
It is must to understanding your customer completely or to the best of your capabilities. Some of the important parameters you must know about customers may be:
- Income level
- Education level
- Lifestyle
- Investment pattern
- Value & culture system
- Desires & ambition and
- hobbies
Many times you have to invest a lot of resources to know all needful parameters truthfully about your prospective customer. You have to identify needs as if yours would do it for new born child in family. Many times your customers are not clear about their need like new child he only cries. Medium of communication
